Hello and happy Memorial Day!
Just picked up a new shimp. It is/was a raw piece of stock, very nice movement, good trunk size nice branching. I did an initial styling as far as cutting it back, removing branches ect. to turn it from bush into the start of a bonsai.
Question is wiring, would it be to much stress at this time of year to wire the branches? I have the B Today juniper book it sounds like they suggest early spring or fall for wiring. It turned out to be pretty nice so don't want to kill anything.
any thoughts?
thanks
Jason
