I have not dealt with Northeastern Pines, but Jim Doyle INature's way in PA), Marty Schmalenburg in NJ, and I believe Mike Pollack outside of NYC (and a member here) have very nice examples of Pitch PIne and others. I have also seen some examples of Pinus strobus (eastern White Pine) and Pinus virginiana that are quite nice. Bill Valvanis has a number of really, really nice pines including Pinus nigra, which is a Eurpean western asian species that has great potential and can be collected from urban landscapes as well.
