Pinus parviflora - changing orientation
« on: February 28, 2012, 09:02 PM »
Good Evening All,

There are many thing I love about studying with my teacher. The following pictures are of a small JWP that I've been working on for the last 3 years. He saw the tree last year for the first time when I had asked him about his thoughts about removing a specific branch and in our viewing of the tree he suggested that I should consider changing the orientation of the tree. The perspective he suggested is one that I had not even considered. I keep meticulous notes of our conversations. We removed the branch last year and when I repotted the tree last weekend I changed the trees orientation as we discussed. The first picture was from last year. The rest were snapped tonight. Growing pot is by Sara Rayner. Branches need to be wired shortly but you get the idea.
