Small Ficus nerifolia

This one will need to grow out some and rewired after being re-potted.

Looks good, Andy. If I remember right, you defoliate these, right ?

Yes. I defoliate nerifolias. Actually, I defoliate all ficus. I didn't need to on this one as I didn't want to slow it down. It needs the energy to re-establish itself. Later this summer(once it has recovered)I will defoliate and select branches.

The new pot really makes the base look powerful. Very nice color too.  Did you  make this from a cutting?

This was an air layer or a root cutting. I have terrible luck trying to root nerifolias from regular cuttings. They usually rot on me.
