Andy,

Great looking tree.  I'm looking forward to seeing more info on this tree.

If you guys could take a moment at add your location and USDA zone to your profile it might help others.

Hi Andy. "THE SLAB' is looking good as always. I too am interested about the small pot to the left. If you ever want to make another slab to start another one of these, I'd be glad to help. Larry

I have uploaded a picture of the smaller tree in the photo..... http://bonsaistudygroup.com/tropical-bonsai-discussion/f-nerifolia-shohin/

Jerry...I live in South Texas....250 miles south of San Antonio, close to the border.

Larry....the slab has cracked in a couple of places. Evidently "shower backer board" is not reinforced enough to lie horizontally with this much weight. The next one will be better.

Andy,
Fantastic tree!!!!

What do you plan to use for the slab? I think slate that thin would also crack.

Absolutely stunning leaf reduction.Like aerial hanging in front for 3 dimension effect. This tree looks very much like one from David Fukomoto used in book by Paul Lesz...about 1990 Dustin Mann
