Root over Rock Green Mound Ficus
« on: April 12, 2019, 11:50 PM »
Hi everyone , I hope all is well . I have this ficus that needed a new Apex and a little bit of wire . I took a few  screen shots of the tree. I'll make sure to take proper pictures for you guys and girls. I picked up filming as a hobby and I decided to start documenting my trees and hobbies. I had to record my  Bonsai it's the hobby I enjoy most . But it all started on the forum so I want to keep this going . So here's a few pics I'll take proper pics of the progression for you guys .

I placed a cutting without any branches on top .All the branches but two grew where I didn't want them . I'm going to make some thread Grafts on it in the future. I didn't really put any bends to the branches without ramification  after wiring . I'm going to wait till they back bud.

I think I've already shown you guys my Red Maple in one of my posts . I found a a set of Eyes,a Nose ,and a Mouth made of  cement I painted it the color of the bark and  put it on my tree. The Nebari is really cool . I'm gonna clean the base better . The pics and video don't do it justice .

I think my videos are getting better . I'm limited because of my equipment. I'll get some in the future. But meantime I'm learning how to edit and getting a feel for it. My first video was full of ums and so's . But it's real and it's me. It shows a few of my pets. The audio is really low cause I'm recording on my cellphone . So I started making Timelapsed videos since then.  I direct the viewers to other YouTubers that have different strong points in bonsai. They may not be good in one thing but there good in the other . So I try to learn a little from everyone. And respect everyone and their taste . And I direct them here to where it all started for me . My love for bonsai grew from here in this forum and Ausbonsai. I invite you all to see my videos . Let me know in the comment section of the video if you are a forum member . It would be really cool to see you guys there in the comments since I don't get any comments 😂 Here's a link to the video of this tree . And check out my first video so you can see the progression of my videos. Thank you guys
