rock-sai ficus repot

After a suggestion from Mr. Ficus, ( thanks Jerry), I turned the tree around in the pot, and trimmed it a bit. Larry

Thanks Irene. I'm not a big fan of this defoliation  thing. Hope it makes it.  I do know it makes me nervous.  Larry

Larry,
Looking good.
I would over time shorten or remove the branches on the left to keep the flow of the tree to the right. That will complement the pot's flow.
Jerry

Hi Sorce. I was amazed when I saw the date on that post. The tree was in that rock for 5 years, and still is. I'm too swamped to take an updated pic now. I'm a vendor at a convention next month, "East meets west " by the Lone Star Bonsai Federation, and I'm getting trees ready. I usually take about 60 trees. I do need to take a picture and see how it changed. I plan to defoliate in May. Thanks.
