My new Buttonwood!
« on: June 01, 2014, 10:45 PM »
So, I have been looking at this tree on Ebay and wanting to make the move, but have resisted until last week when I finally did it. It arrived yesterday and I repotted it, and it had quite a surprise in store for me. Guess what style I repotted it to one day become!?

About the only surprise for me would be if you see a Formal upright in there somewhere.

I guess I'll wait for others to play the game before i comment bwaynef. On another note, I'd like to upgrade to the raspberry pi controllable from my phone mister you spoke of because I'm encountering problems as each day is different, too much water too little water etc. etc. would it be much to ask to pick your brain about the code you wrote for yours?

As far as the buttonwood, now I'm a little worried as it's wilting, but I've read it's normal for conocarpus, someone quell my anxiety please =(

I read this earlier and didn't even notice this was yours.

I would guess cascade.

Based on the base, and where that foilage is.

Hope it gets through this wilting.

I'll let people play the game until it sprouts back, then I'll post the answer with some pretty pics (hopefully), apparently they lose their leaves often so that calmed me a bit. Bwaynef, sorry i saw your post a few days after you said that, I'm so busy taking molecular bio this summer, so can i pm you some questions instead? That cool witcha?
