Cream-yellow would probably work, and many Ficus, including microcarpa, look good in a medium-blue pot, because of the hint of blue in their leaves.

Update:

Just coming out of a mild winter. Plenty of new growth. Once this hardens up it will be time to prune to increase ramification.

Larry,

 It seems like it took longer to start leafing out than usual and I had some die back, but finally, it's starting to "pop".  I guess 3 weeks isn't that long of a time, but we've had some cool nights and I was beginning to worry.

The first photo taken on 3/13 is as it appeared in the Tree of the Month contest. the second is as it appears today, 4/6.
