John Kirby:
As an old Willamette Valley guy, I understand. Good luck.

jlushious:
Any update on how these did?

LBPCO:
I was pleased with the development of the wrist size trident cuttings I took
They are now in the ground for about a year I will take some photos tomorrow and post them
Thanks for checking with me

While we wait on the after pics, tell us what you did with these cuttings.

It looks like you stuck them in a tub/flat of perlite, and apparently had them on heat mats.  How often did you water/mist?  How long did you leave them before potting them up?  Anything that seemed critical to their development?

LBPCO:
I left them go from dec to march in perlite. I watered when I felt they needed it   I did spray with fungicide early on the bottom heat was about 65 degs. In March I potted them up in 1/3 perlite 1/3 soil and 1/3 trident leaf mulch. They took off. I used fish emultion all summer (lightly). I chopped out roots under the centers and placed some tiles there to flare the roots I placed them in AM sun. I just planted them last week. I lost about 25% thanks for the help everyone. I am very happy with the results
