California Juniper. Collected in the Southern California desert. Styled by Shinji Suzuki and Issao Omachi in 2005 in ademo fir the Yamato Bonsai Club. After styling, the tree disappeared for a numver of years then resurfaced. A few years ago the tree was purchased and restored to good health. The tree was restyled in 2013 by Daisaku Nomoto and placed in to a hexagonal pot. The tree was repotted in to this Japanese pot and the rewired and adjusted to compensate for lost branches. The tree is now ready for the final preparation steps to be shown. It isabout 40" tall. Posted as http://bonsaistudygroup.com/california-juniper-discussion/big-california-juniper/
