Japanese Red Pine

Here is my little contorted Japanese Red Pine for consideration. Tree has been de-wired and will be shown "naked" next month at the BIB show. The pot is "Tokoname", not sure what kiln. This is a tree that could be shown from as many as five (5) different sides with a little work. This has always been my favorite front, but with time, wire, and the correct pot I might be convinced to change it. The tree is now a little over 12 inches tall, could be backed down another inch, well, maybe......

This picture was color corrected by our very own Wayne F.

My submission is this cascading JBP. The second picture shows the tree shortly after purchase in 2007 which at the time was a semi cascade. Wiring the the branches down more and changing the front, has given me a more pleasing look. This pic was taken recently after the fall work. ;D
