Title: Yamadori Shimpaku Juniper ...beginnings
Post by: bwaynef on February 24, 2011, 02:14 PM
One of my early attempts.  I thought this one turned out nicely so I'll chronicle its development.  Immediately after these photographs were taken I took the opportunity to compact it again.  I was surprised how much further it was able to be bent.

If all goes well with the subjects in the last picture, I plan to have more stock to play with for such projects.

ps.  I'm somewhat apologetic about the filesize/dimensions of the first picture ...but thought it showed better detail for anyone who'd care to see it.  Plus, ...this forum supports larger file dimensions/sizes.</shameless plug>

That's quite funny as I did the exact same thing about a week ago, I will need to take a pic or two of the young twisted whips.

Good future plan for the shimps in the last picture. Get bend into them while you still can.
