This shimp was bought from a club member who had a small bonsai business and was selling out. I picked it up for $95. I knew I had some work ahead of me with this one but I was up for the challenge.

And I must say I had a blast working on it too. The wiring was the fun part as this is what gives the tree a whole new look and a direction for the future. This was right after the work was finished.

This pic was taken in 2008 and is the best one I can find for now, Once this heat breaks over here (maybe Oct.
) I'll have to take some more up to date ones.

Hmm, I'm not convinced with the new pot. Maybe something a bit larger, more shallow, more rustic? Nanban or drum perhaps?
