Question for San Jose juniper....

how well does San Jose Juniper's back bud?? i just bought one from a show yesterday and was wondering if they back bud good...

well here it is...i want to take it to boon's repotting workshop to see if i can repot it...its rootbound so it needs a repot...i picked it up for $30

It has been prune and pinched badly. It is so leggy. We can fix that.
San jose juniper Foliage is large and course.  It will not look good on small tree.  We might have to graft shimpaku on this
It has nice curve on the lower trunk.

Yeah that what I thought about the pinching too. It was "one of the John's" that's in the club Loki bought it at the demo with Ryan Neil on Saturday. Can I bring this tree to the work shop in Feb. Boon?
