Reporting shimpaku?

(1/2) > >>

LarryAldrich:
Can I repot a nursery stock shimpaku in the fall?  Or should I wait till spring.

Thanks
LarryAldrich

LarryAldrich:
It's a little guy in a four inch pot.

Sorce:
Safer to wait is what I gather!

Nice lil tree!

Don Blackmond:
you can repot in the fall.  the main issue you need to address is the protection it receives after repotting. you don't really want it to freeze after repotting.  but, shimpaku are very tough and fall is a good time to repot them.

LarryAldrich:
Thanks for the advice fellas. I'm planning on doing a little wiring and then reporting in the spring.
