Title: Juniperus chinensis recent styling
Post by: weeijk on June 21, 2009, 04:54 PM
Hi All,

Bought this juniper last september 2008, spring this year I bended part of the higher trunk up, since it was coming towards the viewer. Last saturday I restyled it with the help of Teunis Jan Klein a former winner at the Gingko awards in Belgium, who runs a bonsai business in Holland. The tree is now about 55-60 cm high.
The photo's are before any work done, bending up the trunkline, before styling and after styling.

Hope you like the progress, I'm open for any comments, remarks, alterations, future pot and so on.....

Wessel

It will be a nice little tree once that foliage fills in. Keep us updated.

Shimsuki,

Great little tree and some very nice work so far! Do you intend to reduce the jin some, or perhaps introduce some movement into it?
