Hello samsoncch.. There is a young bonsai in there.. It is just a matter of finding it. Since you are just starting out. You could consider this a practice tree. Might be good to start doing some larger scale bending and manipulating branches. Here are 2 virts of what I see. The first one is a sort of bunjin style. Normally, bunjin are older trees, however, for learning purposes, this tree could serve in that capacity. Where I marked in red, would be cut off, in white, jinned. Notice, I am only keeping that one branch on the left and the top. In time, the top will grow out into longer, stronger branches. Also, some slight, subtle curves in the trunk could really improve this tree.
Virt 2 is an informal upright style. In this one, I kept all the branches. Bending the trunk like the virt, will make the tree much shorter and more compact. It will look more full and balanced.
Either way there is some potential there.
