Splitting Azalea Trunks
« on: April 28, 2013, 09:29 PM »
I have two azaleas, each with double trunks coming from the same root structure.  Can I split the trunks and see the tree survive?  Seems like I have always see single trunk on azaleas.  Comments welcome.

Depends.

Any chance for a picture?  And your location?

I have several Azaleas with multiple trunks.
Quite common for Clump style trees here
