Got this at Lowe's. The pic is before I trimmed it up and a pic ofthe tag showing bloom color.

I've seen some of these at the local Lowe's from time to time.  I've never been able to find one that has a single trunk.  They seem to split right at the base into a million little twigs, which I suppose could make for an interesting clump.

After reading your post it reminded me to take pics. Here it is after I trimmed it up some and closeups of the trunk.

Steven, I bought the same one but the blooms look nothing like the attached photo. What color blooms are you getting? Don.

So far it's just that one in the pic. White.

Saw more blooms on this one. Most are white with faint or faded pink stripe or stripes. There is one the is 95% hot purple-ish pink. Blooms are very large too. Sorry I didn't get any pics.

OK, donmaple, I managed to get some pics while at work of some of the current blooms and pics of a Minato that I received from BillKCMO to compare.

The Lowe's Minato blooms are first.

The Minato I received from Bill. From what Bill told me this is a rooted cutting from an Azalea given to him by Ben Oki. If you can see the writing on the pot Bill labeled it Minato.
