Kinsai in Belgium
« on: December 23, 2014, 04:00 AM »
This is one of my favorite images of satsuki bonsai. And yes, the pot is way too shallow for what we think is suitable for satsuki, but here it is, and looking pretty healthy. That's Danny Use of Gingko fame,  in Belgium, where it doesn't get too hot in summer but freezes in winter. And I would think this bonsai leads a coddled life. It deserves no less. And since I live in a mild climate, it gives me ideas.Hmm
Sometimes it's the rule-breakers that catch our eye.
