Yamadori Ponderosa from Cho Bonsai
« on: June 15, 2016, 09:28 PM »
I just received my ponderosa from Alvaro of Cho Bonsai. I could not be happier with my purchase. I already have in mind what this tree should look like five years from now. But the initial styling will have to wait until late summer/ early fall of 2017. In the mean time I will just watch it and wait.

Of the two that you've just posted, this one seems far and away to have more potential ...though its not exactly straight-forward.  What are your plans?

Wayne. I plan on initial styling fall of 2017. Possibly repot in 2018. But I hope to see something like this in 15 to 20 years from now.

My second loss from Cho ::).  Contacted Alvaro for this tree and was already sold to you.  Appreciate your vision for tree and is similar to mine as I studied it.  Should be wonderful tree in little time for you ;).

Potawatomi13. I'm am glad you can see where I would like for this tree to be in the future. I thought long and hard on this one and just could not pass it up. Alvaro is a great guy. And has some awesome material at very resonable prices. My purchases are done for the year. I think. I am sure you will snag up a wonderful tree from him soon.
