Cricket on my Ponderosa
« on: July 05, 2016, 02:55 AM »
In the garden at 0200 tending to my trees when I here a faint chirp. It's either a rattler or a cricket. After standing still for a few seconds and hearing the noise again I noticed it coming from my ponderosa. A cricket is residing on the brances of this tree now.

Needless to say. It has to go. He's not feasting on any of my trees

Just to be technically correct its a katydid which is a relative of the true crickets.

Existentially...it is a GOOD sign. (Ever seen Mulan?) Not gonna eat that tree. 🙏
