Title: So, How Are Your JBPs Doing?
Post by: Thomas J. on March 21, 2012, 01:57 PM
Mine are doing excellent, especially after the deluge of almost 4inches of rain yesterday. That along with my fertilizing regiment, I have candles that are exploding like I've never seen before this early in the year. These are gonna be some monster candles when I finally cut them in early July.

The first tree here still has the candles somewhat small, but the others, whew.

With the exception of the first two, the rest of these are trees in training and still have a few years of development needed for their branch structures. ;)

Very Nice. I think the first two are certainly ready to be tree of the month- give us something inspirational to look at!

+1

With the really weird (lack of) winter we had this year mine are exploding.  Some of the pine-seedlings-in-training have 8-10" candles already!
