I grow them because I love the look of the bark, even if it becomes a grotesque, I like the freaky look. There is a phase where the cork bark is subtle enough that it looks like a really old tree, but then it develops past that point, and I really want to own a tree that has grown to the point of being a grotesque. That would be fun.
