I've been using the Masakuni watering nozzles for decades and love them. Tried the Chinese nozzles, but as discussed here, they are inferior because of the large hole sizes. The only problem with the Masakuni nozzle rose is that it dents very easily when dropped and it does get dropped quite a bit. When dented the small streams of water are concentrated in one area and disturbs the soil and moss.
BUT I just found a better nozzle than Masakuni, and it's made right here in the USA. In the past I tried the Dramm water breakers with their wands but the 400 holes in the nozzle is far too hard for the bonsai. They now have a new series with over 1,000 micro holes which is super! There are two models, the orange head has a wide spray and the green head concentrates the water flow to a narrower area, but with the same 1,000 micro holes. In one area of my garden the water pressure is not too high so the green nozzle with the narrow area works great. In other areas of my garden with more water pressure the wider orange nozzle is used.
AND I discovered that Dramm has a new Touch 'N Flow Pro water wand which has an excellent turn off built right in the wand! Works great and comes in two lengths, 16" and 30".
And I was not even looking for a new watering nozzle...
