Sorry Al, not even close. they are half the price for a reason. It's not the wand or the makeup of the sprayer. It's the ROSE and nothing compares. The Chinese ones are exact duplicates except for the rose and thats where it ends. I ought to go take a pic of mine spraying. When folks see it it sells it. I don't sell them anymore so I have nothing to gain. I had one my teacher gave me used in about 1985, I used it until a couple years ago when while at a show in Florida my MIL ( who was watering trees for me) decided to soak it in a bucket of CLR rather than remove the rose and rinse the dirt out. She just put the end of the hose in the bucket for a day. Ate and ruined the sprayer solder joints and rose, the solid brass hose shutoff valve, and the brass threaded ends of my 100 ft. rubber Sears Craftsman hose!! AAAYYYY!!!!
Luckily I had just bought two new ones at the show from the Monastery to sell, soooooo, I sold one!

I hated throwing out that sprayer that was over 25 years old.
