Hey kid - good going!

I hope this works well for you. I promote club membership as much as I can. It may not be for everybody, but man it can really open your eyes and open new doors to what you can experience with good instruction and 'hands on' training. Surround yourself with people who love bonsai like you do and understand the curiosity and frustrations that accompany the journey.

May 2012 be all you expect of it and more.

Did the Jan. meeting have a theme or topic - maybe a program with a guest speaker?
In Winter some club meetings are not as 'exciting' as in the growing season, but will vary greatly.
Glad you're sticking with it.

the topic was mostly about their Show on the 14th and then they talked about repoting..

I asked, in part, because we are trying to think of a topic for our clubs March meeting. I sometimes look around and see what other clubs are doing in Winter months. Thank you.

I understand that BIB puts on a very nice show - I visit the site from time to time.

One of our neighbor clubs - Mohawk Hudson Bonsai Society - had Boon as a guest last year. It was awesome! Had Suthin too.

You couldn't have joined a better club!

With such high quality trees (and people) surrounding you, your techinque will improve ten-fold.

I considered joining but couldn't make it to all meetings ;)
