The reason I keep suggesting seeing the Dallas or FOrt Worth CLubs is that there are a number of very good bonsai people there who can give you the little hands on keys that will make this work for you. The most important first step is enthusiasm, that coupled with some hands on teaching will lead to success. Really, otherwise you can be frustrated by the basics for a long time. Best of luck, John

Listen to John..... There is NO better way to learn than from an experienced person. Visiting Masters are wonderful but a club will always be there for you. Books have info but not necessarily for your particular situation. The internet is also good but not close to face to face first person help.
