Lower my back fence? full sun?
« on: October 15, 2012, 03:18 PM »
I've watched the amount of light getting to my benches at different times throughout the day.  My backyard fence is a few feet higher than my front.  When the sun first rises it seems that some of my benches are blocked by the taller fence and my trees are shaded for maybe a couple hours in the morning.  For Junipers and Black pines should I lower my back fence?  Would this help to make them grow any stronger?  If so would it be noticeable at all?

might be easier to raise your tables than lower your fence.
