Limited contact during the summer
« on: May 20, 2010, 03:04 PM »
Greetings all. This will be my first summer on the 'B.S.G.'. In the past on the former board I frequented, I posted when I was going to be away for the summer. I just want to let my Bonsai Friends know that I can only stop by from time to time to post or answer questions to my posts. My summer home does not have internet access and I only go to town once a week to check my email.

During the summer I move my trees to Tupper Lake NY, where they enjoy the summer and stay till late September or so.
I shall be leaving in the next few days but wanted to give everyone a heads up in advance. Those who don't care, sorry to bother you.

Jay

Jay, good for you.  My camp is only an hour from there further along route 3.  Pretty piece of country up there.

Thanks Dave, our camp is on one of the islands in the middle of the lake. Unfortunately we are on the north side of the island, little sun. But I've been able to take down some trees to open up a bit and let the  sun to get through. Since retirement, we have been coming up to the lake when the weather breaks usually mid May to mid June and stay till the weather changes... usually mid September to October.

I must say, my trees as well as I really enjoy the experience.
