Kokufu 86 Prize winning Satsuki
« on: February 28, 2014, 09:25 AM »
So, my wife was tolerant enough to browse thru the Kokufu 86 album with me ...and at least look at the ones I pointed out to her.  It was pretty interested to hear her take on the trees.  She's not much for Pines, particularly JBP ...and particularly shohin JBP.  She likes flowers & deadwood we decided.

We came across the Satsuki that won a Kokufu Prize and we both really liked this tree.  Is anyone familiar with it?  Does anybody know if they allow it to flower?  Are there any pictures of it flowering?

The satsuki in question is found on Peter Tea's blog.  Any pictures of it in flower?
