Monthly Club Meetings
« on: December 18, 2012, 08:49 PM »
Good Evening All,

Many of you know my story of how my son and I became involved in the wonderful world of bonsai 4 years ago. If you don't its been covered in previous posts on this forum. As I contemplated that journey recently I had a great sense of appreciation for the club to which we belong and the impact that its members have had on us as we wandered down our bonsai path. I doubt without our club and the monthly meetings we attend our progress would have been as great or quick. I can not thank them enough for their support and encouragement. If you have yet to joined your local bonsai club I'd encourage you to do so. I've become very involved in the club and thought I share a photo of myself from our November meeting where I gave a presentation on fall work for
satsuki. There are a scattering of other species for comparison on certain points I was making.

Joined the Baltimore Bonsai Club couple of months ago and glad I did. I knew that I needed help but put it off because of family, work and sanity demands.

Very glad, the learning curve accelerated way beyond anything I could do on my own. Plenty of help and inspiration from other members' trees. Also, met a bunch of nice people.

Therefore I echo your sentiments and recommend that people choose to spend their time with a club.

I enjoy your posts and trees (as well as many others). Thanks to all for the information and maybe I'll get to meet some of you on this journey.

Happy and Healthy Holidays to all!

Best regards,
