I am a Board member and the Treasurer of the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan ("HSSM").
I have 2 trees that I am auctioning off and donating 100% of the proceeds to HSSM.

One tree is an old, seed-grown Bahama Black Olive.  Really nice tree. http://www.ebay.com/itm/180753456200?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_743wt_1398

The other tree is a field-grown crabapple.  A short, fat, sumo shohin.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/180755225049?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_575wt_1398

Here is a great chance to add nice trees to your collection, knowing the money will support a worthy cause.

Thanks,
Don

Thanks John.
Come on dog and cat lovers.  Let's do some business.  Make an offer on that windswept black olive.  I'll even work a deal on that fantastic Sara Rayner pot.  I bought that pot specifically for the tree, and they look really good together.  Work with me....

It is a great tree, I just don't have a tropical greenhouse. But I dare anyone to outbid me on the little fat tree! John

Thanks for giving your time to that cause, those that cannot speak for themselves need somebody to speak for them. That olive is a beauty and an amazing price... the wife would never speak to me again if I bid on that. Hope you get a buyer.

This is one of the many reasons I am raising money to support HSSM.

There are many similar cases of severe neglect, but the good news is that most turn out positive with full recovery and adoption by caring people.
Hey, this isn't meant to be a downer.  It is a positive for these animals and for bonsai.  This is meant to promote bonsai as an ambassador to a good cause.  Support bonsai and support animals that need your help.

OK all you tropical lovers this is your chance. I   L O V E  this tree. It was a fair price the first time it was posted and a down right steal now.  Why aren't I bidding? Well It will die in my home. I do not keep tropicals,
all my trees need to sleep for the winter. BUT, I can't stand seeing this tree hanging on. Please help me out and buy this tree. More importantly help Don help those little friends.

Think about it...... you are doing a nice thing, your are helping a great cause and.... you will probably steal this tree.

Just do IT!!!

This is a charity auction listing for an itoigawa shimpaku juniper.

I am donating the tree, so 100% of the proceeds goes to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan (I'm the President of the Board of Directors and Treasurer).

$1 start and no reserve.

Do you like bonsai? Do you like cats or dogs or both? Well then bid and buy this great tree while simultaneously supporting a no-kill animal shelter!!!!

This is a super tree and a super cause. Please help.

I have not done this in awhile, and there's no better time than the present.  So here goes.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181309257962?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I am auctioning this trident maple on ebay.  100% of the proceeds will go to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan's building fund.

This is my charity of choice, and I am currently the Treasurer and President of the Board of Directors.  We are currently running a capital campaign to raise funds for a new shelter.  Every donation helps, and every bid will increase this donation.  Please bid, get a tree, and know that your money is going to a great cause!

Thank you,
Don

I decided to run another charity auction to support the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan.  This listing is for a really old, yamadori bald cypress.  I love the tree, but I love my Humane Society more.  So, here goes.  No guts, no glory.
55" tall
25" base
16" trunk at 8" above the soil
9" trunk at 1st branch
35"x26"x9" mica pot
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181318806770?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

The listing mentions that I have 2 or 3 other trees of similar size and value, and I may let you pick from the litter.

I decided to run yet another penny start and no reserve ebay auction for a trident maple.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181319707393?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
Comes in a 10" training pot.
Stands 20" tall from the soil with 2.25" trunk and 6" nebari.
This would be a good, fun tree for anyone who likes bonsai.

Buy my tree and help me support the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan.
