Thanks Leo

Yeah, the lower branches have only been trimmed when the shoots have really got out of proportion.

The new shoots that I wired and styled have hardened off nicely and the tree is looking good.

What I meant about the planting angle is that I would like to have the tree come over the corner of the pot so that one can see the pot and most of the front of the tree too but also get some of the trunk too.  I think just a small rotation is needed.

I was lucky enough over this past weekend to have some of the members of the World Bonsai Friendship Federation visit our club.  They are in the country for the African Bonsai Convention happening end October.

We did a mini show for them with some of our bonsai and it was well received.

I took along the BMT and it was well received due to the unusual style that it has been grown in.

Some of the guests were Mrs. Naemi Iwasaki (vice president WBFF), Mrs. Solita D. T. Rosade (Director Americas WBFF), Mr.Jonathan Cain (Director Africa WBFF). Really a great privilege.
