Title: Azalea leaf gall
Post by: LarryAldrich on April 20, 2014, 09:33 PM
I'm having issues with azalea leaf gall. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm not aware of any chemical fixes for Azalea leaf gall. I have a plant that suffers regularly with it and I just remove the affected leaves. It is important to do so before the galls turn white and powdery as this is when the spores are ripe and can spread to other plants.

I'm keeping my eye on the good ones.  We had a very wet march and April.  I dug up three azaleas over the weekend that were pretty much covered.
