Cornus nuttallii Western Dogwood Bonsai?

Anyone have any pictures of a Western Dogwood Bonsai?  Looks like a very challenging tree to work with.  I just love seeing them in bloom in the Sierras.

I have heard that they don't like their roots messed w/ and that this is one of the challenges w/ dogwoods as bonsai.

That's true especially for wild collected trees.  Human grown or young plants should respond better.
