Here in Southern New Jersey, the weather turned quite cool, and I decided to bring all my Tropical and sub tropical in for the winter.

This was about ten days ago.  A week prior to that I had pruned the subject tree, which I believe is a Barbados Berry, but I could be wrong.  Anyhow a couple of days ago, this tree was covered with small berries, but then yesterday the majority of these berries burst into flowers.

I have had a few flowers from time to time, but the heavy pruning of a couple weeks ago must have set up for this display of flowers.

Carl.
I think the tree likes it. It is putting on quite a display.
I believe it's MALPIGHIA PUNICIFOLIA.
Warmest regards,
