Mr. Norbury, what is your secret?! 8)  You certainly have a way with crab apples!  I find them difficult to keep looking good for the entire season, so having such a great looking plant during fruiting time is a coup.
Of course the flowering photo is beautiful.

Thanks. They can get quite thirsty - so daily watering in summer.

I water mine twice daily in the summer heat, I think I have more trouble with fungus than anything else.  I may try another one now that I see how nice they can be small.  Any particular cultivar that you like better than others?
 Thanks for sharing these gems!

This one - they are both the same, but I don't know what it is.

Hi Judy, I had trouble with fungus on mine as well because I used to water at night, if they get water on the leaves and it doesn't dry off quickly that's when the fungus happens. So I try and be careful not to get water on the leaves and I also water in the morning so that any water on the leaves dries off in the sun during the day. Just what I found and may not be the same in your area!

Well you're a lot of help Jerry!    ;D  :D Whatever they are, I like them. :)

Jodie, where I live is hot and humid in the summer, a great incubator for fungal.  I have done a better job this year spraying prophylactically and my crab is in much better shape than usual.  Not as nice as Jerry's though...

Ah gotcha, I always forget about differing climate challenges - sometimes I forget how humid places can be! Haha.
