I won this maple at our club meeting this past week in a draw, but nobody was able to ID it for me. It's pretty unique and in my efforts to find out what kind it is I have run dry, there are just so many maples... The top of the leaf is a nice lime green and is a really neat rusty red colour on the back side.

Anyways, here are some photos, if anyone has seen this one before I would be much obliged!

I'd look up Acer pseudoplatanus and see if it matches.

Doesn't look like it, the Acer pseudoplatanus leaf has a green top and a greenish white underside from what I could find...

Hi there
I had one in the distant past. Beautiful tree early spring. I defoliated it use ing yesterday's info on total defoliation and it did not survive. Treat it like a vine maple. It should respond to that kind of life style.
Good luck
