hawthorne #2
« on: November 08, 2011, 11:25 AM »
Well, I got this from a friend after helping with the styling, of an old JWP he has been growing for over 30+ years.  It looked to me like he chopped the trunk a couple years ago and let it grow ofter that.  When I got it home, I put a dremel to the stump, and added a deadwood feature.  This is where it is at the moment.

Did some root work, and crammed it into this pot for more development.

I am really beginning to like Hawthornes- thorns and all. Nice work.

Thanks John.  I too am growing fond of these trees, and yes the thorns can be dangerous!
