Spring 2010 befores and afters Part 1...
« on: November 04, 2010, 06:35 PM »
Hello all.. I was going through some files from this Spring and came across a bunch of before and afters so I thought I would share... The "after" pics are either right after or a month or 2 after the work was done. Also, I should say that these trees did not just become bonsai, I have been training them for years prior to this. Most are reworks though. This upcoming Spring, I hope to get the ones that are in growing or oversized pots, into the appropriate pots. Also, there is more work to be done so I am showing these as unfinished bonsai...Comments always welcome..

Hey Rob,
All are looking good...though I particularly like the cascade and the final literati you posted.  Very nice.  Keep up the good work and keep posting.

Thanks Dave,, I am also quite fond on the straight like trunk literati... It is a tree that people either like or dislike,..no middle ground with this one..

Thank you John..

Hello ericN..Thank you very much. As the years go on, I see things that will make each tree in my collection a better bonsai. I reworked a large percentage of my trees last season. It might put me back a year or 2, but the end results will be better bonsai and better health.. Thanks again.
