New fire thorn

It is finally evergreen collection time here. This is a fire thorn that I have had my eyes on for a few months.
By the look of the bark and the size compared to others I think it is very old maybe 60 years?
It is one of the best I have ever collected anyway.

It certainly seems to have recovered from collection. Just wondering, whats with the bamboo(??) lining the inside of the pot?

It certainly can't compare to the Bundy rum

The Bundy is good stuff but I won't let myself drink that when I go out anymore it always seems to get me in trouble
The pot ended up being a bit shallow Bwayne so the bamboo was added to allow more soil
