Ligustrum Sinensis variagata

He everyone, I hope all is well . Have a few updates and new projects I want to show soon. I got this privet from a friend that wants to redo his property . I  got some nice mature plumerias and other cool stuff.

I had to cut quite a bit. Their was a few cuts made by my friend two years ago that are not pretty. He cut the bushes branches  to nubs.

Those first pics were from a couple of months ago . It's growing well I didn't get branches in all the places I need them but it's doing good. I would appreciate any suggestions on care or design I don't know much about them.

Let it grow out and heal up, its got potential.

One of many options, the branch on the right, the trunk heads that way and tapers dramatically to that point. You could when you repot next tilt the tree up and make that your apex. Remove the second from the right and other branches that are thicker than the one on the right. It will probably leave you with a nice "Fat Trunk" shohin. But that is just one option. Let it grow out a year and then see what possibilities grab your attention.
