Larch Yamadori

It's not much, but I dug this up last fall. Surprised it survived a Calgary winter, but it's budding out well. No real shape or anything yet as I am still letting it recover and grow more roots (it didn't have much at digging time). Had some reasonably decent taper so far I think. Budding out alright so far.

These things grow fast. If you put it in a bigger container or better yet stick it in the ground and it will take off like a rocket. They love the cold. I don't know how cold it gets where you are but where I am it gets cold. Really cold.Below zero Fahrenheit for over a month at a time. I just leave mine on the benches all winter long with no adverse effects.
