Title: Jim Gremel's Cedars
Post by: Chrisl on January 28, 2012, 01:50 PM
I keep finding myself going back to Jim's website.  His green atlas cedars pictured are just awesome.  I'm going to have to find some money and fly out there one day to get one.  Plus, it'll let me visit my long last bay area lol  Has anyone bought any of his cedars?  Care to share?

Here is one from late 08. I must say that I haven't done a lot with it, It was pruned back again last summer and will be repotted in March. I have worked to make it shorter so that it fits the Chuhin size (less than 18"). It is there now.

That'a a very nice one John!  Nice movement and taper.  Good branch placement too!  The trunks on these cedars are just something else!  Thanks for posting a pic John.

Other than Jim's initial wiring, it has been pruned and plucked only. If it settles in well after repotting, will wire again in Fall.
