I will add more movement next year as the tree is sleeping.  Michigan is freaking cold now. So i have put the trees in their tents. I will submit  a picture.

Looking good, let it rest until next year. I like the gold highlights, very autumnal looking. It makes a nice contrast when shown near a conifer with "blue" foliage.

My favorite are the dark green hinoki, to date no hinoki cultivars are "blue" but several nurseries are working on finding one (Buchholz for example). The gold forms are an interesting alternative color.

I get mine to blue up a little by adding a tablespoon of Epsom salts to the Mir acid fertilizer once a month. Read it in a Craig Cousins article once I believe. Works on juniper too.
