Hollywood juniper from nursery stock

<< < (2/3) > >>

Jay. I would not go so far as to say I am better. But I have had good responses from hard pruning juniper nursery stock in spring here in Northwestern Missouri. Especially this year as the nights are still dropping into the lower 40's and not getting much above 70 during the day still. I would not try this on pines or deciduous trees here though.

I'm glad to hear you have had good results with such drastic work. I will look forward to seeing this tree in future years....

I will keep you posted Jay

Looks great to me! I bought a similar juniper and also aggressive style and Prune. I got to excited. It looks healthy to me. Junipers are insanely hardy

Beautiful Trees! Will definitely make for a amazing Bonsai in years to come. Don’t underestimate the second tree.
