Hello all. I have been absent from the forums for quite a while now. I found this Alberta spruce spiral at a Lowes and just had to have it for the trunk itself. I thought I had the front all figured out but now I'm not sure. All suggestions are welcome.

I like picture two as the front. I suggest allowing the lower branches to thicken up.

bwaynef. When I initially saw this tree I pushed my fingers into the soil and felt the curvature and swelling. My assumptions were right as there is a very nice base to this tree after removing the soil just to above the surface roots.
