Pine ID please

Hello all,

Collected these cones and hopefully someone cab help me ID them.  First two pictures are the same kind. 

My guess is first is Nigra or Thunbergii and second is densiflora have grown some seedlings from the nigra/thunbergii already last year so hoping to do some more :)

Greg, I have no clue.  The folliage looks like JBP.  I've never let any of my JBPs set cones, so I don't know what they look like.

But, I imagine it would help someone who DOES have clue if you told them how these cones were collected.  Is it from a native forrest?  Or nursery stock?  Or someone's back yard?

From the looks of folliage, good strong, straight needles, it appears it would make good bonsai.

i agree that the needles look like JBP but the pine cones ive seen set on bonsai JBP are smaller than these but i suspect that they were dwarfed possibly by lack of nutrients.
